fucking 16 here and sustained 30mph+ winds since last night. I thought we had lots of limbs down before! Looking outback I see my trash can has fallen over and beer bottles are all over the place. Suppose to be 40mph winds tonight, sounds like the house is going to blow over. Were getting ready to go to the store-dumbasses.

Unlike in the USA, life doesn't grind to a halt at the first sight of a snowflake here. There could be three feet of snow on the road and Tim Horton's would still be open in anticipation of snowmobilers.
