With a few caveats - there are only 3 of us (although I will be inviting strangers to partake in the activities). I don't want to go buck nutty over here. wanted to do chili, but I just don't feel like making it today. here's what I currently have:

KB burgers (with pepperoni and provolone)
Scallops with balsamic vin wrapped in prosciutto
Potato salad
Chips and dip
Wings

I need more apps ideas, would also like to do a full fish meal as well. thoughts? was also thinking of throwing in a steak salad

i don't know but dang, can i tailgate with you?

just keep feeding me (food) and i promise not to talk.

1) Summer sausage / cheese / crackers always a good combo

2) Pretzels (big, salty ones... not those gimpy little ones)

3) Assorted nuts (avoid plain old peanuts too)

All good eat outside foods

Someone else said fajitas. That sounds really good right about now. Go with that.

Okay, think I got it:

(the usuals with chips and dip, snacks, etc)

NE Clam Chowder
Cold beer shrimp (found a great recipe for this in my recipe box :rainbow: )
Grilled garlic toast
Lobster tails
KB burgers with potato salad
SOme sort of dessert

oh, and lots and lots of good beer :)

lol, it's not a bad thing. just not the norm for me as most of my bros are cheap fucks that can't cook.

Trust me, I won't have a fucking ounce of help from any of my bros. But I enjoy it, so it's good for me. Plus we should be able to lure some chicks over with the food too.

And HH - there's not enough meat in NY or NJ to shut you up

yeah, you just made me goo a bit. I may have to do this. any recipes or simple grilling instructions for the tails would be awesome dude. thanks
In advance: If lobster tails are frozen, put them in the fridge in a ziploc bag on a plate at least the night before, or, if necessary, soak them in cold water to return them to a thawed state before starting the recipe below.

Bring grill to medium-high heat.

Run a wooden or metal skewer through the tails (toward the red shell side) for support, to prevent them from curling. Then, I strongly recommend parboiling them before grilling. Get one large stockpot of water to full boil, then turn it down to a gentle boil. Plunge lobster tails into water and gently boil them for about 2 minutes.

Remove them from boiling water. Place them on a cutting board, shell side (i.e., red-side) down, and slice lengthwise through the softer (whiter) shell, lengthwise, the full cut.

Place butter in, and squeeze lemon juice directly in the shells.

Then place them on the grill, red shell side down. Grill, covered, for 2-3 minutes more. Serve with lemon wedges and melted butter.

only one problem with this.you are forgetting a veg bro.I know you could say potato salad is the veg but come on you know there is always that one hot broad that only eats veg.lol tell you the truth it seems there are more and more of them out there every year.any way I would add some corn on the cob/grilled marinated summer squash and zucchini or something like that.

or just a tossed salad and tell them eat meat if you dont like it.lol
