BP and Meds- Anyone on them?

Hey bro's- i am on 1.75 cc's of Test E and 1.5 cc's of EQ in 5th week of 12 weeker- blood pressure has been about 156/90- doc wants to put me on meds for it- however does not know i am on juice- one- should i tell him ( i am in canada if that makes any difference) and two- is anyone out there on gear and BP medecine- is it ok or is there adverse effects mixing the 2 (which i assume their is not). I assume once i come off my BP will go back to normal levels tho.

Help me out.

I have been on BP meds for a few years now. I have been honest and upfront with my doctor .... but it was a gamble at first. When blood pressure is concerned, it is better to be safe than to be sorry.

You're not on too much gear so that leaves me to wonder what your normal BP is. When I am on, Test and Deca especially, my BP does increase. To compensate for this, I increase my meds by 50%. Once off, my pressure goes back to normal levels so I reduce the meds.

How's your diet....caffeine, sodium, etc? I NEED my morning coffee but stay away from salt when on. Coffee does increase my BP.

i was normal before 120/80 usually- but i am a bit hypertensive also and gotta cut down on the salt- so do u recommend i tell my doctor about the gear or no?? will it really matter? My doc is a lecturer so i dont wanna hear it from him basically

You have determined that the gear is responsible for the increase BP (which it does effect in many people)...you will want to take some meds while on. I'm fairly sure you still have to get a script for BP meds in Canada...if not, sorry. (It's been a while since I was there last....but what a beautiful country!)

If you are going to self-medicate (which I don't recommend....at least not with BP), you will need to start on a mild med. I take 20mg Prinivil per day. This is one of the mild meds and I do not have any sides. You probably heard people talking about decrease sex drive, lethargy, ed, etc....but never happened to me. I think it may occur with more moderate meds in older men.

Thanks Bro i appreciate the help! i am a little hi-strung to begin with and maybe it was high before- being a newbie i forgot to check everything to see what normal was before i started my cycle. umm a lil excited i would say..hehe! but thanks again!

And yes i canada it is a scription however i am not telling him what i am on as he is not a great doctor for that and will lecture to no end- so i will keep on meds till cycle is over- go off and see if it goes to normal - if not then the hi BP was there prior to the cycle.

It doesn't matter what the cause of you high BP is, you need to take care of it. If I were you, I'd get myself a monitor and a prescription for something like capoten. I've been on it for a year and love it. Does the job with no sides, unlike the two meds I tried before. If your BP drops when you go off cycle, then you can save up the meds until you go back on again. Regardless, get a monitor and use it. THere is at least one British source who sells a generic version of capoten called captopril.
