Hey guys. So i'm in the middle of my first cycle of test e/dbol and it's going great. For the past few weeks i've been doing pretty much only quad and delt injections, as I only have 1" pins. Last tuesday, for reasons that I cannot fathom, I decided to do a glute injection (with the 1 incher)
The injection itself went alright. it was my first time injecting glute, and it was weird adjusting to being all contorted to see my own ass! When I pulled the needle out, there seemed to be a bit more blood than there usually was when i pinned my quads or delts.
After about a day, i started to get some PIP, and swelling. my upper right glute area continued to swell, and now it is noticably swollen, looks like I'm at like 30% bf, but only on the far side of my right leg.
What's going on? From the magic of the internet, I think i have it boiled down to either
a) virgin muscle pip mixed with perhaps jiggling the needle when i was twisted around, tearing at the muscle and causing brusing
b) since i used a 1 inch needle, it's possible i hit subq fat (I'm at about 15-18%bf right now, so while i don't have a *ton* of fat on my ass, there is definitely some there)
c) infection. Pretty sure this aint it, as the pain is pretty minor, and my temp is normal. no itching or spots, its a tiny bit red, but barely noticable.
I'm leaning towards B. If that's the case, how long will it take for this giant ass lump to shrink? It makes sitting down/lieing down on my right side impossible, and looks pretty ridiculous.
edit: I wouldn't even bother posting about this normally, but it's been about 5 days now, and the lump/soreness hasn't really subsided at all. I'm a hypochondriac, so i'm making myself worry (hopefully unnecessarily)that it's something much worse, like an infection, or a sterile absess or something.
