My big challenge is getting somethign that goes around my calves and also needs to be comfortable. A couple years ago I had a great pair of stretchy stack heel boots (big rubber wedge heel) that was great for dancing. But, alas, they looked like moon boots and they were tossed when I purged 1/2 of my shoes after I sold my house. I got another pair of stack heels but I am currently surrounded by only short guys and it just doesn't help. The regular heels are hard enough.
Do any of you girls sometimes feel bad for the short guys?? Man I hate short guys. (not in a personal way, just in a general way)

I've always found it curious (irritating) how guys over 6' most of the time go for 5' tall girls. (no offense to the 5' tall ladies out there...)
I could not imagine being over 5'10", in heels and trying to find a man to date.

Imagine you had to choose from guys that were 4'10"-5'3" only, I'm 5'10" in most of my shoes so that leaves guys over 5'11" to at least have some height of ya when you go out.
A lot of guys don't want a girl towering over them so you might meet a great guy that will not date you even if they dig ya because you are too tall.
Hope this makes sense.

Yea that would be terrible. Actually I once dated a guy that must have been 5'4 cause with heels on I was as tall as him, he was a real cutie and cool guy, but damn..... that's just way too short.

This new discount shoe place opened up near me so of course, I investigated. I have bunch of low boots for trousers but they look stupid with skirts, so that required me to go find some higher boots. So I tried on every pair that I liked. I ended up getting a tan pair & a black pair w/ a silver heel for a total of $74. I laughed tho - they are both "mad-made materials" because none of the leather ones or ones w/ a side zipper will fit over my calves. I just gawked at this girl who zipped up this really hot pair of boots like "How'd you do that???" LMAO!
But I get more compliments on my calves than on my boots, so I'll take the big calves
