yea i didnt have any problems with fungus in boot , nor did anyone in my division.

I think ambient temperature has something to do with this particular problem. His basic was in Texas and in October the temperature was still in the 80s (I know because I went to see him graduate) then he went to Tech school in Pensacola FL.

HT is hull Technican; Basically shipboard welders, however a majority of the time they spend as plumbers.

A deck Seaman is an able-bodied man who spends most of his time as a laborer, in shipboard preservation. A fireman does the same thing for the Engineering plant, an Airman for aircraft, and a Constructionman for the SeaBees.
