Boldenone w/ no ester

Spidey said:
If you want a fast acting boldenone, why not just make the acetate? It will be easier to dissolve in a BA/BB/oil and it would have aproximately a 3 day half life (like fina). I think it would hurt less too.

acetylating agents like acetic anhydride are not hard to obtain.

That would be awesome too. What would i have to do to make it an acetate?

Spidey.....master chemist. Must be nice to have them skills!
Ahh yes. They have served me well :)

ruffian3 - just take your boldenone base powder and dissolve it in minimum amount of pyridine and add the right amount of acetic anhydride. Stirr it or let it stand overnight (swirl it every once in a while). Add a shitload of water to precipitate your product. Filter it out (coffee filter should work) and wash well with water until you can't smell the pyridine or acetic anhydride. Let it dry and voila - you have boldenone acetate.

Do a google search on pyridine and acetic anhydride. They can't be that hard to get a hold of.

Thanks spidey. I'm probably going to give that a shot. Lets say I had 5g of bold, how much acetic anhydride would i need to use.

about 2.5 mL acetic anhydride should do it. That is about 1.5 molar equivalents. You will probably need 15 to 20 mL pyridine and you should be a bit careful adding the acetic anhydride as a lot of heat will likely be produced. It would be a good idea to cool the pyridine solution in an ice bath while adding the acetic anhydride slowly (a fast drip). Wear safety glasses. If the mixture became overheated and spattered in your eyes it would likely blind you. After the addition is complete, you can remove the ice bath.

Karma bro:D When you say add a shitload of water to precipitate, what exactly does that mean. Should I use BW or just reg. tap water?

Regular tap water is fine. This is just to precipitate your product so just keep adding until your product is no longer "crashing" out of solution. Don't forget to wash exhaustively with water until you can't smell either pyridine or acetic anhydride. Each of those compounds has a very pungent odor so it shouldn't be a problem to know when there is none left.
