Bodybuilding.com's forums suck ass

i frequent the teen board over there, since i'm a teen.

a LOT of ignorant bastards. probably 99% of them.

elite is a lot better, but it's nice to discuss and debate with people my age over a lifestyle i love

Do we need a teen board?

The training, diet, nutrition boards over at BB.com shit all over the EF boards.

I don't know about the Anabolics because i don't use, but some of the boards over there are far more informative than here.

I agree with the age thing though.

Tell me more about what they are doing right over there. Their site is the largest bodybuilding site on the Internet -- Elite is number 2. (FYI, we are both way ahead of Ironman, all the Weider bodybuilding sites, MuscleMag, etc.)

We are working on making Elite better, so let me have it.

i dont agree, sometimes (rarely) they may be better but inno way do they shit all over ef :goof: :goof: - i find little reason to go their . they have a good domain name

Bb.com is a good sight. Personally, I used to frequent that site before I found elite. But, I never joined or posted if that says anything. I found some good information and articles over there on a myriad of topics -routines, supplements, nutrition, AAS. But, like I said, they also have a lot of people that write articles for their site in regards to training and nutrition. Kelly Ryan comes to mind along with, ah shit, I can't remember others. Just my own humble opinion.

On Elite, more guest columns/ articles from familiar names and faces in the bodybuilding and fitness community covering nutrition, training, etc. that aren't necessarily "sales pitches" just informative in nature would be a good thing IMHO.

I understand this is a business operated to make a profit. I typically feel like EF is usually trying to sell me something though whenever reading articles, advertisements and bumping around the website. I personally don't always like to feel like I'm being sold to if that makes sense. And, I'm in sales and marketing for a finance company so I certainly understand that sales is the fundamental building block of any and all businesses.

.

guest columns would be a good idea, as long as ef didnt turn into flex mag. ie stupid bb routines and such. stick to knowlegable people, and not just reach out for names.:)

I like how EF tries to portray itself as a respectable online community, yet its mods post threads bashing other boards.

Threads we might find on a teenage forum:

- "Poll: which of these groups kick is the coolest ? Backstreet Boys or Nsync ?"

- "Wow, just bought some new Phat farm pants"

- Hi I'm Laura, 13, my BF just fucked me in the ass, can I get pregnant ?"

- "Hey my pussy is bleeding, is that a female ejaculation ?"

- "wassup fools, I'm 16 and wondering if I should frontload test at 2 g/week, btw I'm 6'1, 150 lbs."

- "pics of my skinny skeleton in my new phat wifebeater"

Well they is what they is and I'm entitled to post my opinion just as much as anyone not a mod is entitled to post theirs (within limits) on this chat board. Just because something is proclaimed a "respectable online community" or whatever doesn't mean kissing ass to other sites is a pre requisite. I mean, they sucked ass, really, from my experiences.
