Bodybuilder diets

wrenches

New member
Hello all. I am fairly new to the boards. I have been here reading lots of information but this is my first questions / request for help. I am taking my Specialist in Sports Nutrition course from ISSA and I require 2 diets from accomplished body builders and 2 diets from aerobic atheletes in order to right a comparison essay. I need to look for the ratios of fat , carbs, and protien in the meal schedule and the meal supplementation.

So if any of you are willing to share some of this information with me I would greatly appreciate it and I will be able ot help with other diets plans in the very near future here.

Thanks
Todd

Here are some bodybuilding diets
Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables, whole grains, beans, nuts and seeds; some lean meats, fish, eggs, low-fat dairy products; and mono and polyunsaturated oils
Limit intake of saturated fat, cholesterol, salt, alcohol and an excess of added sugars and sugary foods
Drink plenty of water
Maintain a normal weight
Exercise regularly.

I don't think many bodybuilders would benefit from a decreased intake of saturated fats or cholesterols Harsh. Especially with all the recent research into the area.

I'd be more than happy to help you out, OP, as I've dropped over 100lbs of fat from my frame and added well over 15% LBM, both in short periods of time through excellent diet and training. But I'm hardly a body-builder, though I train like one, and my dietary preferences are just one set of many.
