Body For Life

Hey all,

Any & all of you who are presently on or were on Body For Life.

I've been "out of the loop" for a few months, no training, getting fat...etc

In the past, I've seen diefferent opinions on diets & it seems to me at least, that "Body For Life" is one of the most reasonable.

In youre opinion, can you do well (get healthy & lean) on "just" the diet without all the supplements they sell.

I'm not in a position to be dropping any money right now on that stuff.

bud i can tell u that u don't need the fancy suppliments or nothing. I haven't tried the diet yet but I intend to, I know my brother got real ripped off it, lost a lot of fat and gained a lot of muscle

You can definately do the diet without the supplements. The supps are just for convenience (sp?). Remember that the basic set-up is just a serving of protein and carbs six times a day with veggies thrown in at least two meals. For instance one example would be:

Breakfast:
Muselix with fat free milk

Mid morning:
Cottage Cheese
Orange

Lunch:
Flank Steak
Steamed Brocolli
Whole-Wheat Roll

Mid Afternoon:
Apple with Peanut Butter

Dinner:
Chicken Breast
Stir Fry Vegetables
Steamed Brown Rice

As you can see, no supplements what so ever. I would still throw in a Multi-Vitamin though.
