body acne???

my cousin is having extreme body acne on cycle, and has semi bad even when off. i told him to use benzyl peroxide cream each night under a clean t-shirt, and 20 min 2-3 times/wk in a stand-up tanning bed with no oils, and to use epson salts in bath 30-60 min. 2-3 times/wk.
how much epson salts i can't recall, been forever since i needed it myself?
also what else can he do, it's BAAAD! and no pills have worked. any suggestions please???

Some people are unfortunately prone to acne from androgen changes than others.


Couple of options:

He might try Murad brand sulfur cream or DDF sulfur cream. These products are not cheap, but for some people they can be far more effective than benzoil peroxide based products.

Dry sauna. Not a steam room. Needs to be dry sauna, coupled with a stiff, natural bristle back brush. Shower thoroughly. Exfoliate well all over the acne prone areas with the brush to remove dead skin and open the pores, then sauna. Shower again afterward. Probably won't work real well once the acne has become a problem, but could potentially help a lot to keep it from recurring when he starts his next cycle.

Another possibility is proactive antibiotics. The idea would be to start the antibiotic cycle about 3-4 days before the androgen cycle to build up a serum concentration. I'm not a real big fan of that route if the lifter is running oral AAS since the antibiotics themselves can also be a big harsh on the liver. Erythromycin is the cheapest by far and should be tried first. Minocyclin is the bomb, but is more expensive.

Maybe some erithromycin gel. Its sold on some of the sponsors sites. Its got and alcohol base and kills the bacetria that causes acne.
