Body acne

Chest acne is quite common.. More in men..

usaully the reason due to mid chest acne can be from a number of things..

Thick, Pore-blocking creams.. Don't use anything too rich especially after a warm shower.. Pores are more likely to be infected (heat causing pores to open) use a very light lotion.. Antibacterial wash would be useful too..

Also clothing, Sweat and moisture.. I'm pretty sure this is the reason for it..

If you use gels, hair sprays and are shirtless while doing so.. That can cause it too.. If you have long hair and go to bed with it wet.. Again, This can cause it too..

After training/shower, keep a cool pad in the fridge or freezer.. I use it on my face every night after a shower.. Use it on your chest.. Wherever you feel the need to..

I leave it in the freezer for 25min then straight on my face for 5min..

It tightens pores so pollution and everyday bacteria can't get through!

This is a good treatment for it..

Let me know what you think.. ;)

Thanks for the info. No hair gels, and I have short hair. I'll try out the damp pad after showering to see if that helps...

i tried everything under the sun and nothing worked, im giving accutane a shot now and hopefully kill this shit for good

I'm sure its the training and sweat.. Most likely to be..

Also keep a cloth (muslin cloth would be good) After workout, Rub the cloth on your chest with it.. Cold, Cold water.. Then put on fresh clothes..

You'll see a difference in 3/4 days if you continue with it..

i dont think it has anything to do with the training and sweat and but rather the cycle he just finished

Roaccutane is the best.. Go for it, It'll get rid of everything!

be aware of the side effects:

Constant muscle pain,

Dry skin and very sry lips constantly..

Depression and many have committed suicide due to this tablet... My friend was fine on it though and her skin is amazing now..

i just had surgery, never had acne before in my life, and not taking anything in a long long time, and for some reason i broke at bad on my shoulders.....have no idea why, but they are sore, thats how bad it is...im wondering if my antibiotics or pain killers are a reason??

Acne is very common on back, chest, shoulders..

These are all the areas of the body where the most of us have sebaceous follicles.. I am aware that acne is also a side effect of drugs.. Very likely, Antibiotics, Tranquilizers and Anabolic Steriods can cause this..

You are right to think that.. you've also never experienced before and this being your first time.. Def has something to do with what your taking..

The thing is this is only for a short period of time.. How long are you suppossed to be on these antibiotics?

You will get back to normal once off medication.. Are the pimples quite red and soft?

It's painful because of it being where it is and most def medication..

What is the name of the antibiotics? ;)

im done with the antibiotics, it was to be taken for a week. still taking pain meds, but only one a day.....i get spooked whenever i have any type of rash/soreness on my back because i had shingles on my back, and that was one of the worst experiances ive ever had.

Oh yes Shingles.. They are actually caused by the same virus that causes Chickenpox.. Its called Varicellazoster virus.. I'm sure your doc's given you that info anyway!

Good treatments I know that have been highly effective for Shingles are

Acyclovir, Valcyclovir or Flamcyclovir.. Great.. great treatments..

There are tropical agents too if they become pretty painful..

Don't worry about the acne on shoulders.. Once all treatments are done.. Shingles are treated too.. Everything will get back to normal.. Just give it time.. Don't allow it to worry you.. ;)

Thats great.. Shingles doesn't leave scars which is good.. There is a shingles vaccine.. It's to prevent the virus.. It isn't a treatment for those who already have shingles though..

Look into it, Ask doc if you can have it.. When you get shingles your body becomes resistant to it. This makes it unlikely that you'd get it again, It is possible but very rare..

Don't stress about it.. stress is the worst cause for problems.. Take it off your mind, You'll feel alot better.. Don't worry!

I saw where someone suggested Benzoyl Peroxide, maybe in another thread. Anyone have thoughts on this? I've looked for it in a few stores and can't find anything.

I picked up a cream cleanser. I think it's called "Clear Pore", and I'm using it last in the shower, then rinsing. One of the ingredients in it is the Benzoyl Peroxide.

Benzoly Peroxide is good.. You should really treat it from the inside-out.. It's the only way to fully get rid of it.. Try ACUZINE.. This is an all natural pill that treats acne within the inside.. Its a great treatment for skin too.. I have no acne but can get the odd blemish now and again, I take Acuzine everyday.. Maintains the skin at a great level..

Maybe try Dermalogica's Special C;earing Booster.. It's a tropical treatment, It contains 5% Benzoyl Peroxide concentrate with alginated zinc triplex and also has soothing botanicals.. Apply that 4 times every night.. Skin rejuvenates at night so always best to apply it then.. It will tone down redness and dry up acne too..

It isn't a cure but it'll help the current blemishes.. Def look into Acuzine..

I forgot you're from London. Wal-Mart is probably the largest retail supercenter in the states.

I'll try a few places... Thanks :)

Hmm.. Not sure if supercenter's will have it.. Have a look and let me know..

Sure didn't. I found a bar of soap, forgot the name brand, but it had BP on the front like it was the main ingredient. Seems to be helping but will take a while.

I've been trying that soap out the problem just seems to be getting worse. It's only been a week or so though. I'll still continue to fight it. Maybe I'll just order something online because my city seems to be lacking in the good stuff.

I think it is the gear

Retin A works great for me, even with Anadrol zits,

It should get better! Soap isn't all that, Its good for drying it spots but it prob has mineral oils or any other kind of moisturising properties.. That mixed with acne.. Could increase and worsen the problem..

Whats the current situation? ;)
