Using 56k is torture regardless.Swoleyoley said:theres no way in hell this site could say up on a t1.
Swoleyoley said:im sure they have atleast a t3, even on our ds3 things arent always lightening fast

No one really knows but I highly doubt it. I don't think this site generates enough revenue to cost benefit a T-3. Who knows, maybe George makes more off that Triple Threat than I think. But in CA it's roughly $1000 per meg per month. That price includes co-lo costs.

$1000 per meg...
you know how much bandwith this site proably uses, if your theory was true george whould have to be a rich man just to run a couple hours
Enigmaxxx7 said:What George needs to do is upgrade his webserver to a Pentium II and up the RAM to 128 Meg.
Then he needs to get rid of that analog line running to the server and get DSL-lite. It's only about $40 a month. And upgrade the modem in the server from 28.8 to 56k.
Then we'll be cruisin.
The MAX upstream on any broadband product is about 384K. This is still about 5 times slower than a T1.Enigmaxxx7 said:What George needs to do is upgrade his webserver to a Pentium II and up the RAM to 128 Meg.
