Bloodwork results

I had a checkup today with my doc after getting some routine bloodwork done a week before. I am not happy with the results and could use your input.

i am on 400mg cyp/week,400mg Eq/week, and 30 mg/day var. i am four weeks in and have put on 8 or 9 lbs without any noticeable sides such as bloat. (i am taking armidex .5/day) my cycle goal is about 10 lbs muscle, increased hardness/vasularity and the cool changes in muscle shape that come from AAS (i.e. roundness).

my family is blessed with low blood pressure. my last reading, 6 months ago, was 110/71. today it was 154/78!

my liver enzymes were normal before , but read 52. the doc sais normal is 45 or below and 100 or above is where they start to get worried.

i forget my cholesterol but he mentioned it has gone up. he did not seems truly worried about any of the above results but said we should moniter in three months or so to make sure this is just an abnormailty. he was not alarmed about any of these things.

no i did not tell him i was using AAS. i really like my doc and 1) would kind of feel like a jerk admitting this and 2) felt all guilty for not fessing up. i have not put on an outrageous amount of weight so he did not bring this up. he is not stupid so may have suspected i was on roids but did not say anything.

ok here is my dilemna: is this some something i should worry about and discontinue my cycle? will me bloodwork return to normal after my cycle ends? should i maybe drop the var and continue with eq/cyp? my cycle is due to end in three weeks.

i would appreciate responses from experienced users. this is my first "real" cycle and not sure if this is only a temporary thing while on cycle.

i left the doctors office with a sinking feeling. i don't like hiding things and am worried the muscle i have gained may not be worth the risks. karma to all responses. am i overreacting here? thanks glenn

Your BP isn't actually that high. Your systolic is, but diastolic is still under 80, which is normal. Diastolic is the more important one to watch in these cases. My BP goes up when I get nervous sometimes, but only systolic. Also, you need to take your BP several times a day to get a good average, one reading isn't very accurate by itself. Cholesterol usually goes up when you take 17aa's like anavar, as do liver values. Yours aren't very high though, and will probably return to baseline quickly once you get off the var. I don't see anything to worry about for the moment bro. Just keep an eye on your BP and you should be fine.

anavar will raise liver values and the should return to normal posr cycle have you been using any liver supps if not you should defienetey start or stop the anavar

You did the right thing by going in for a check up. Many people avoid docs like the plague when they're on. If you're doc isn't overly concerned it's def. not something you should lose sleep over. My BP is usually in the 130ish/50ish, & has gone up to 170/73 while on. It returns to normal pretty quickly after the cycle is over.

no to be honest not taking any supplements for liver...will start increasing the cran juice. this is one of those things you read about but think it won't happen to me. better off knowing results...

this has been a lesson. i have always had incredible vitals. don't smoke, rarely drink, regular cardio, eat well, yet still have been affected by my relatively minor cycle.

makes me wonder what happens to guys who do massive cycles over long periods of time. my jaw drops sometimes when i read the cycles some EF members do. better take the time and effort to moniter things.,.

Are you overreacting? I wish my stats were as good as yours while on!!!!

I don't see anything to worry about. BP not a problem .... the small bump could be coffee, nerves (since you were worried during the visit), etc. Cholesterol will drop back down to normal. Add some olive oil or enova oil in your diet. Spinkle olive oil on your vege's, breads, salads, just about anything.

Liver enzymes just a weeee bit high but still in good shape. These will return to normal in no time after var is stopped. Add some milk thistle supplements to your daily diet....about 1000mg ED.....will help your liver function better.

Should you stop.....You're getting good results....but this is a personal decision. I would continue. If you're getting more nervous take it week by week. My guess is that you're just about at the half way point anywhooo. You will still feel the effects almost a month after your last shot of Cyp anyways.

Relax and enjoy!!!!!

6-7 grams of taurine daily will bring the bp down.

I like to throw in Tyler Liver Detox or Milk Thistle with any 17aa gear. I agree, The liver values will easily come back inline once you finish the var. I would not be too concerned with those figures during your cycle, If you were 8 weeks out I might be more concerned, but not now. Go back and have them checked a few weeks after you finish PCT, when your body is not full of foreign substances.

Your numbers look good and you are doing the right thing by checking out your blood work and BP. Personally I would drop the var. Those 17aa seems to always be the bad guys and it’s not going to make that big of a difference.

what is taurine, and where do i get it (will it lower it considerably?)- my BP has been around 158/92 since i am on cycle.... and does it REALLY work or is there sumthin better to bring BP in check while on- i am also hypertensive so could be raising it also. Notified Doc and told him i am on and said to leave it till i am off then he will check it and advise if it does not go normal.

i have decided to finish out my cycle with the var, since i only have about two weeks supply left anyhow. Ka-Bar, why do think dropping the var would not make much of a difference? do you think it is not that vital to my ultimate cycle results?

for my next cycle, after the proper time off and PCT, i will completely drop the orals. i am starting to dislike taking the var three times a day. var is way too expensive anyways AND overrated.

It really don’t matter that much I guess since your blood work is not bad at all but it just seemed you where a little concerned about some things. Var is good for strength but at the your dosages it’s pretty mild. After having all the problems I have had I just seem to be more cautious I guess. :)
