Bloods should I be looking into TRT?

Got bloods done. Total test was 172. I feel "ok", equipment works but I have some of the other symptoms of low test (lowish libido, slow to get moving, tired a lot, etc) and have had these symptoms for years. However, i function fine day-day (little lethargic all the time gets to me thou).

Only cycles I've done are a few 4 week cycles always with a strong 4-6 week PTC and time off (2 last year, 2 the year before that).

Test 172 pg/ml
LH 2.5 pg/ml
FSH 2.0 pg/ml
Estro 29.5 pg/ml

Thank you for any thoughts / opinions.

Bloods done at a lab, no Dr involved yet, I asked my Dr to a blood test 3 years ok because of lowish sex drive/tired and he said it was not needed, looks like I need a new Dr.

I'm going back in 3 weeks to get this redone, get t3 checked. Started P5p & forma today in the hopes of dropping my estro into the middle range since 29 is higher range and might be lowering test levels a small amount.

Not sure what your question is. Your test is low and often lowered over time so the effects werent clearly noticable but you will likely notice how much better you feel on a little test. Honestly, you have nothing post cycle to come off to so I dont know that I would bother with a cycle and just go right into trt or if yyou did start with a cycle then just dont come off and run test at trt doses after.

Thank you. That was the type of advice I was looking for.

Thanks for taking the time to type up some advice.

If your still young like you are and you have done a couple cycles and have low T, best thing to do is run some PCT first and see if you can "help" your system get back on its feet. TRT is a life long decision and not to be taken lightly. That may not be what you want to hear, it wasn't for me back then, but.....

Some additional info: I did just finish 7 weeks of natty (photosarms 357 + bridge) and I feel 100% better then 6 weeks ago so Im pretty sure the test level I'm at now is much higher then it was. Before that I tried forma, Hcgenerate + clomoid for 5 weeks and after that I didn't get bloods done but I felt like a feel now (better). Before running these two attempted I would fight to stay awake during the day and had really no interest in sex (everything worked fine i just didn't care about it). Right now I have a good sex drive even at 174 (helps that the wife is smoking hot).

Last cycle I did ended mid October 2010 and was 5 weeks of dieasl with epi the last 3 weeks also.

So you think I should try again before giving up? Maybe an even stronger pct attempt?

yes i think u should try again with a stronger pct b4 jumping to conclusions but be ready and mentally prepared for hrt cuz ur so close to it. r u planning to have some kids? if yes then keep trying to boost ur natty T , if no then i think ur on ur way to hrt.

Man, I think you need to check the reference ranges to be sure.

My testoterone levels (from a saliva test) came back in the range of 70-250 pg/ml the same unit as yours, not ng/dl.
So maybe that is the range yours is in.

I was getting Total test measured, but I think the range is actually "Calculated Free test", which they just derive from the total test.

I could be wrong but check it out.

Also your estrogen levels are normal so it would actually be unusual for test levels to be very low in this case, usually they are low together as Testosterone converts to Estrogen.

Pretty sure they only check free test with saliva tests. But yes I had a 2nd set done with similar results and have been perscribed HRT.

Currently scripted:
150mg test c every 5 days
Have ADex script
250iu HCG day before test c injection.

New bloods every 3 months or so...
