you are doing the right thing by getting blood work, but you sound misinformed as to how the process works if you plan on using your insurance. it is unusual to just walk into a lab and order bloodwork, even if you have good insurance. typically your doctor will provide you lab slips, checking off what he feels is pertinent. the more tests performed, the more it costs.
the average juicer needs to be most concerned about blood pressure, liver enzymes, and cholesterol. you dont need blood work to get your blood pressure. test levels are important to all men but if you are concerned about the health effects of juicing these are what you need to be concered about.
if you can get bloodwork done somewhere out of pocket for $95 that seems quite reasonable . good luck.
