Blood Test Results. Please Help Everyone!!!

OK. finally got the blood test results back that everyone asked of me. (by the way, am going to see an endocrinologist on thurs., just wanted opinions from everyone else. if you dont remember my earlier post, here it is:

"whatsup guys. im 28yrs old. in tampa.. 5' 8 190 or so. pretty decent shape. heres my problem. i have taken many cycles of steroids in the past, but my last, of which ended in june of '05 (when i got married) consisted of enanthate and fina, have given me severe problems. i have absolutely no drive, libido wise whatsoever. it is the worst feeling in the world. it is seriously jeopardizing my relationship with my wife and even though she understands the reasons, its getting tougher and tougher to explain this over and over. for some reason after i came off this, i never recovered. i didnt do a pct (like an idiot). i have since the last 2 months tried dostinex and tried hcg which both didnt really do anything. i have an appt with an endocrinologist feb 16, but im not even sure if he will know whatsup or if an endocrinologist is who i should see. if so, should i go to a lab first to get blood tests to have on hand for the doctor? what type of blood tests should i be looking for? this may not sound serious but it really is. it is totally affecting my life and my marriage. lead me in the right direction and calm me down and tell me im not the only one this has happened to. i need to do something sooner rather than later at the mercy of my relationship and my own morale. please help!!! sorry to sound like a little bitch but i need yalls help!!"

so here are my results.. please give any opinions or EDUCATED thoughts you may have. a bit frustrated because when i got these, the nurse said, everything looks normal and i know my body and dont feel normal.

cholesterol- 160
F S H- 2.4 (RANGE- 1.6-8.0)
L H- 4.8 (RANGE- 1.5-9.3)
PROLACTIN- 7.0 (RANGE-2.0-18.0)
TSH- 3.71 (RANGE- .40-5.5
ESTRADIOL- 24 (RANGE-13-54)
TOTAL TEST- 431 (RANGE 250-1100)
FREE TEST- 81.7 (RANGE- 35.0-155)

SO LET ME KNOW. ALL INPUT IS EXTREMELY APPRECIATED. THANKS.

from what I know about blood tests your results look fine except your cholesterol is a bit high (mine is usually in the 80's) but 160 isn't way to high to be worried.

From what I can tell you can boost your Test into the 800 range and you should feel a substancial difference. After you do that you will need another lab as your E will probably be a little higher.

For your age your test count is definitely low. They say normal range is within 250, but maybe for a elderly man, not a 28 year old. If you were normal for your age you should be around the 800 number. How long have you stayed clean of any drugs?

mike, i have been clean from everything for roughly 6 or 7 months now.

I'd come straight with the doctor - he may be able to help. You may need another run with the HCG to get the boys back up and running.

Good luck and if the doc comes to a conclusion post it - it may help someone out someday.

DO NOT come clean with your doctor. It will go on your medical report, then for the rest of your life you can get denied by health insurance companies for coverage, or if you have coverage they will not pay for health issues they can claim were caused by steroid use. Notice I said claim, not prove, because all they have to do is "claim" they are not required to cover you for health issues, and they may be wrong, but you'd have to pay an attorney big bucks to fight it, so it's a lose - lose.

400 something test count is NOT normal for a 20 something year old. They give the normal range, that is for all age groups of men. I guarantee you if you find anyone else in here with a 400 test count, they will be suffering from low libido as well. For example, I had bloodwork done last year, and at 35 years old my count is 900 something. I as well have done cycles in the past, abut still maintain a high number.

I would suggest that you research in here cycles of HCG and Clomid (dosing suggestions vary somewhat), if you can get those substances, and do a one month "recovery" program to try and get your balls pumping again. Come off for two months, then get more bloodwork to see any changes.

In the meantime, try one of the big three pills and see if they can get you some help. Cialis is the best of the best. There are some generics floating around out there cheaper, Regalis is one I know of. Check it out.

one test is not a valid to indicate hypogonadism, 431 one day can be 600-700 a few days later. I would run CBC w/diff, metabolic panel, lipids, maybe a glucose chalenge test if need be. there are lots of factors that can have an effect on libido, both physiological and psychological. I understand you are frustrated regarding your current situation, are you currently scheduled to see a endo or urologist?
