I just got in my recent blood tests and some values were off.
Good news is my HDL is now 40 - I was below 30 last time - the posts I read on HDL did me wonders - thanks. LDL was rockin’ at 81!
Problems:
Blood:
RDW: 15.2 (Normal Range: 11-15%) [High Red Cell Size Distribution]
Liver:
globulin: 2.0 (Normal Range: 2.2-4.2 G/DL)
Thyroid:
TSH: 7.15 (Normal Range: .40-5.5 MU/L) (Under-active thyroid)
From what I have read, iron intake can assist the RDW - that I can easily work into my diet. BUT, my iron levels were 129 – (Normal Range: 40-190) seems weird my RDW is high but my iron values were good.
For globulin, I read it can be caused by liver disease, malabsorption?, protein malnutrition (absurd because I eat 275-350g per day), chronic kidney disease and third-degree burns (never had 3rd degree burns lol).
I have no idea why my thyroid is off. But this value is the one that is very high. I haven't used T3 - not sure what is up with this! My brother suffers from hypothyroidism but he is 350lbs, smokes pot and never exercises.
All other results were perfect. FYI here are the rest of my liver panel results:
ALT: 18
AST: 16
ALP: 89
direct bilirubin: .1
total bilirubin: .6
GGT: 14
LDH: 136
total protein: 6.8
Recent Cycle History/Stats:
200lbs / 6'2" / 15-18% BF / early 30's
last cycle was winny oral 50mg/ED for 6 weeks. Cycle ended first week of December. PCT was clomid for three weeks which ended last week of December. (used trib and a few OTC sups too). Post recovery was awesome – felt wonderful and kept all of my gains.
My diet is very strict: 150g carbs per day; 275-350g protein; 50g fat
My main source of protein is whey, chicken and fish (mostly tuna)
Carbs come from oatmeal, wheat bread etc. and leafy green veggies (for the HDL)
I am getting ready for the following cycle starting in two weeks:
WK 1-12 EQ 400mg
WK 1-5 tbol 60mg/ED
WK 11-14 winny (oral) 50mg/ED
Questions:
Should I not cycle and see my doc?
How the heck do I raise my globulin levels? Is this level something to worry about? Could water intake be the problem?
Should I worry about my thyroid level being this high? I am not tired and I feel great.
I may be a bit to worried about a .2 difference in my RDW but the globulin seems to be very low – especially if am going to be on orals in a few weeks.
Any help is appreciated.
