Blood/saliva test

Hey all,

Sorry I'm pretty new to the forum but I was wondering if anyone on the board can help me out. I'll be taking a blood and/or saliva test next week in preparation for beginning HRT treatment.

Can you guys provide any tips to help ensure I'll qualify for the treatment?

next week might be too soon to really drop your test levels. Drink a lot of booze and do a lot of cardio. Oh, and only watch Lifetime.

LOL, I'll lock my TV on Lifetime this week. The alcohol consumption shouldn't be an issue. I guess I'll start doing 45 mins. cardio every day too.

Just got my results back today. Here are the results:

Test 34.4 pg/ml
Estradiol: 0.2 pg/ml
DHT: 6.1 pg/ml
DHEA: 79.7 pg/ml

My HRT doc said I'm very low on the values above in addition to thyroid hormone. He's prescribing the following:

a) Test cream including 125mg Test, 25mg DHEA, and 4mg Progesterone
b) Armour thyroid grains
c) 12.5mg iodorals

I'm pretty stoked to finally get a chance to see me test get back to normal!
