Blood Pressure Help please...

Dont know a whole lot about blood pressure other than normal is 120/80..I just finished 12 weeks test and I am doing PCT as we speak started 9 days ago..anyway bllod pressure today was 141/59 why would this be?? IS this safe??

were yo nervous when they took it? Mine is almost alway 140/70 when it gets taken. I finally got it done in a low stress situation and it was 116/62. Also, if you have large arms (over 17in) make sure they use the large cuff. If they don't it will give a high reading.

I used a machine at the store...I took the reading 3 times in 10 minutes and that was the average of the readings..

those machines are not very accurate, especially if you have large arms. My arms are 19 inches and they have to use a larger cuff, if its too small you get high readings like the guy above said. The reading seems not to be too high, but if you are really worried go see a doctor and have it done right. I know how to take my own with a stethoscope and sphignometer and do mine at home, just like the doc would. It is much more accurate. One way to keep your BP down while on test is to take an anti estrogen like arimedex.

borderline, but not bad. fluctuation is common. don't worry. if you start gettin headaches and feeling lightheaded or flushed or something look into it further.

keep an eye on it though. I imagine it will drop.
