what would cause a reading of .20 if the guy was a heavy beer drinker but did not have a beer that day? The test was done in hospital. Is it possible the guy has diabetes?

The body can be so unable to process alcohol that it holds onto an amount for a long time.

I saw an alcoholic once who went to the hospital with a BAL of .38. 24 hours later it had only come down to .32 because they had been drinking for about a week.

I blew a .24 in a German Poletzi station around 6 hours after I stopped drinking.

He must have been lit the night before. IMO he is an alcoholic and was probably around .3ish the evening prior.
