It looks much worse where I'm at east of Denver. 6 foot drift in front of the Jeep. Snowmobile is also buried in drift. Truck is stranded 1/2 mile away and I have nothing to mount a rescue with until some melting happens. Street has not had a vehicle within past 24 hours....snow is 2' deep. It would take a very serious 4WD. My Jeep could do it but it is in a drift 1/2 the size of a house.

Weather prediction looks excellent, I'll make a run for it tomorrow.
Truck is actually a mile away. A daunting walk in this weather only to arrive at a stuck vehicle with a now dead battery since I left the flashers on.

I don't know how in the hell some people stand that. We just had spring break and I was down in Panama City with gorgeous weather. And today here is about the most beatiful day of the year. If the clutch wasn't busted on my bike, I'd be out riding all day. 80 degrees and sunny...

It started snowing again but has stopped. I mounted an expedition to get my truck unstuck. Loaded up battery jumper that called itself fully charged and good chains into my snowmobiles "trailer." Pulled it and installed the chains only to find the battery jumper now had no charge at all. 
Ok really.....no vehicle was able to drive the street it is stuck on.
The county may get to it by Friday. I heard an official sounding (beeping sound) vehicle working one street though. Someone must know the mayor.

They called it the worst blizzard in a century on the national news. 7 feet fell NW of Denver. May have floods when it melts.

Postage stamp sized photos just don't do justice to snow. Ya'll had quite a dump last month as I recall.
