blasting Test E at 500mg for over a year

I did a 1 year blast of testosterone it was fine but pct was brutal like 16 weeks pct
if you want to cruise after, just self TRT the dose 200mgs

You can do that but still try to do a pct in the middle 4 weeks to give your body a boost between blast and cruise phases.
