Bladder infection

I feel like I have a bladder infection or like I always have to pee, I am very uncomfortable down there, any suggestions or home remedies? I have a dr appt but not for a week or so and that is one place I dont like to feel awkward!!!!!!!!!!!! All stds are ruled out so its nothin like that! Thanks

I have been drinking water and cranberry juice like mad! It almost seems to go but then the next time I pee it comes back to haunt me and then afterwards I am uncomfortable for hors, always feel like I have to go!

I would try to get in somewhere else, cause when water and the juice doesnt cure it.....it will not go away by itself. You need some anitbiotics. You can also get fever, chills, and aches with it so call and try to get in anywhere you can and explain what is going on to the secretary or whoever.

Definetly keep your Dr. appt.....I had the same problem a while ago---- you can also try the cranberry capsules-- you take like two, three times a day. You can find them in your local pharmacy. That might help --- but you do need an antibiotic. It is a bitch of a problem though; I feel for you. Good Luck with it.

There are some pills you can get at your local drugstore...I cant remember the name of them for shit right now....They are miracle workers - until you can get to the dr...they relieve all pressure and pain you feel.....does anyone recall the name??? there are a few different brands....

Try AZO. It is an OTC med that will help with the pain. Do keep your doctors appt though. He will need to prescribe you some meds to cure it. AZO will only treat the pain, but not get rid of the white blood cells you have in your urine. Also, try to stay away from cranberry juice since you already have one. From what I understand if you feel one coming on it is good to load up on it, but once you have one the acid in the juice only makes it more painful.
Hope this helps a little. Try to keep busy and not think about it, which I know is hard to do. It seems like they are always the worst when you are sitting around watching tv or reading and have time to think about the pain

You shouldn't have to wait to see a doc for this,
go to any walk-in clinic, STD clinic, doc-in-the-box, etc.. (nextcare, for instance)

If you can get the drugs...
single-dose cures (as long as you're not allergic!!):
Ciprofloxin 500 mg
Ofloxin 400 mg

others:
amoxicillin or ampicillin 250-500mg 2-3x/day x 5 days
bactrim DS 2x daily x 3-5 days
macrobid 2x daily for 5 days

If you already have a doc, call his/her emergency number, they should have NO PROBLEM
calling in a cheap prescription now!!!!! If they do, get another doc.

Of course you should still be seen by a doctor, especially if the symptoms don't
improve within 24 hours.

you need to go to either urgent care or get a doctors appt. asap, because if it is a bladder infection, then you need antibiotics, or it can turn into a kidney infection. that is exactly what happened to my girlfriend and she was in the hospital for a week last summer. also since she had gotten bladder infections before, the doc told her to make sure she goes to the bathroom after sex (urinating after helps prevent bladder infections) this has seemed to stop them. hope this helps

GIRL get to the DR. like NOW!!! you don't want to mess with getting this infection into your kidneys that is bad news. In the future one way to prevent bladder infections is to urinate inmediately after intercourse. May be all of you already know this but just in case...
