She grew up to be a lesbian. I actually think she was born that way. Major butch chick and always has been. Strong like a man and does not fit into the extended family at all. She is very successful and I admire her a lot. My parents hold out hope that she will ditch her "friend" and marry a dude. Yeah right mom and dad, lol!
Kinda odd but my immediate family (Mom, Dad, me, DH, my kiddos) has accepted it. She doesn't visit our extended family.8and20 said:

I wouldnt say im the black sheep although i feel like it. I just distanced myself from the extended family which sucks because we are having a family reunion march 30th. I just know they are all gonna want to know why i dont call. I really dont have to call. My mom is the social network of the family, she knows everything and she tells everything to the rest of the family and some things she told them were embaressing so thats one reason i dont call. but man do i feel like the black sheep or at leased the outsider but i have to admit i do it to myself.
