Bitten or stung?

I stepped on a dead bee once - got me right where my toe and foot kind of merge - hurt like a bitch. My foot swelled up and made it painful to walk.
 
Growing up in a fairly outdoorsy family I have been bitten and stung by all kinds of insects. Although the worst bite I have recieved was by a dog, I have a scar that runs the whole length of my right middle finger from the bite. The incident was 100% my fault, I went up to a strange dog and offered my hand to it, I made the mistake of letting my fingers spread apart and he snapped my hand with no warning. Dog was just really old and contankerous, some kind of shepard mix.

Naw, it belonged to a foreman on a work site I was on, had all his shots and stuff, just a really old dog that probably should have been put to sleep long ago due to it suffering from joint problems.

I just bandaged it up and went back to work, I actually found it highly amusing and was laughing after it happened.

i accidentally stepped on a beehive and got like 7 beestings all within a square foot surface on my ankle/lower leg

i felt like passing out and puked alot that afternoon
 
Yeah jellyfish hurt like a mutha....those little pink bastards got me more than once. There are some nasty ones out there, Man-o-war ect... I think the Box jellyfish is the most poisonous animal. Pretty much toast if that thing nabs ya.

I make a habit to look up words I don't know... I figure it's a way to combine studying for the GRE verbal and reading the boards at the same time, lol.

At least it was a hand and not your face or some place more vital. Although I get asked all the time what happened to leave such a big scar on my hand.

actually lol, you put meat tenderizer on it, no joke, it denatures the protein in the venom

works for bees too, its the papin, I believe it comes from papaya and it takes the pain away fast.
 
Have been stung by wasps, bees and hornets. Hornets were the worst -- like hot needles.
Have been bitten (teeth-wise) by cat, dog, pig, horse, squirrel.
Have been bitten (beak-wise) by swan, chicken, duck, crow.
 
i've been biten by almost everything at one time or another. worse one was a florida bark scorpion. got sicker than a dog, throbbing right quadrant of my upper body. lots o snake bites, too. not Yukon Jack either.

a dog bite me on the ass once. I was little hurt yes. Stung by a bee hurt yes, and bite by a horsefly, hurt yes.
