I've been reading your threads and it appears you've been going through a rough time man.
This weekend my ex reminded of a time almost ten years ago when I up and quit my job when my employer tried to be cute and screwed me with some commissions. I was pissed and quit right there. Only thing was we had just bought a home, she wasnt working, and I was our only source of income. The hardest thing to do was to go home and tell her what I did. I knew she would be worried and scared, and after buying the house, we were nearly broke.
But after I told her what and why, that night she cooked me dinner, we went out on the deck to eat, and she was nice as hell. And she hates Bon Jovi, but she played this song.
Once upon a time
Not so long ago
Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
He's down on his luck...it's tough, so tough
Gina works the diner all day
Working for her man, she brings home her pay
For love - for love
She says: We've got to hold on to what we've got
'Cause it doesn't make a difference
If we make it or not
We've got each other and that's a lot
For love - we'll give it a shot
We're half way there
Livin' on a prayer
Take my hand and we'll make it - I swear
Livin' on a prayer
Tommy got his six string in hock
Now he's holding in what he used
To make it talk - so tough, it's tough
Gina dreams of running away
When she cries in the night
Tommy whispers: Baby it's okay, someday
We've got to hold on to what we've got
'Cause it doesn't make a difference
If we make it or not
We've got each other and that's a lot
For love - we'll give it a shot
We're half way there
Livin' on a prayer
Take my hand and we'll make it - I swear
Livin' on a prayer
We've got to hold on ready or not
You live for the fight when it's all that you've got
We're half way there
Livin' on a prayer
Take my hand and we'll make it - I swear
Livin' on a prayer
Bor, sometimes all you got to live for is to keep fighting, and never give up.
Chin up man, it'll get better, and in the meantime, don't let nothing keep you down
