Since several people and one rodent have asked, here's a follow-up.

The "Bitch - " title only appeared in one IE window, if I opened Elite in a new window it wasn't there. But in the original IE window, the title remained no matter where I went on the site -- new threads, UserCP, member list, galleries, you name it.

After it finally lost its amusement value, I simply closed the window and the "problem" was gone forever.
