bi's and tri's

bicepts101

New member
the outer heads on both my bis and tris need some work

does anybody have some specific exercises to isolate the two areas?

karma will be handed out to all who help

i didnt think you could isolate certain parts of a muscle, size wise.

and if you can....i need some help for my lower part of my left bicep too:D

well you will work other part of the muscle too of course, but i know certain grips, angles, and exercises, hit different part of the muscle.

for example, if im not misstaken, preacher curls help to lengthin the bicept at the lower end. i wuld suggest using dumbells though

all i have is misgivings about your understanding of muscle stimulation bro

as stated, no way to target, but for the outer head of tri's, i like one handed pulldowns, and angle it...ul be able to hit the exact spot you want...try hitting hammer curls, with a tweak at the top for bis

I think some of this is down to genetics.

I was training with a friend doing the same routine and his arms took a totally different shape than mine - he got a much better peak on his bi's and mine were more spead out.

ok, well how about this then bro, you help me out

if i stated something wrong then correct me so i can learn,

dont just leave a statement up there like that WTF help a brother out, shit

sorry, here is what you need to do

1. take a straight bar..load up some weight curl it for between 4-8 reps...maybe experiment with a higher rep range some arms respond a little better.

2. take a weight belt...add some weight, put it on. do some close grip chins to failure. that is how to make your bi's fire.

peak tec..is all genetic. look at Arnold, one bicep has a great peak..the other is flat as a pancake.

don't waste time trying to hit inner, outter, upper, lower anything..it's all crap bro

Ill say this: Hammer curls really hit the fuck out of my brachialis and outer bicep. I think shape is mostly predetermined but I believe size of certain areas is about the angles you hit your arms from. Also, everyone responds at different rates so there really isnt any universal routine in my opinion. Certain exercises also work better for some people. Its all experimentation, just go by feel. What exercises do you feel in your inner and outer biceps or triceps? That should answer the question IMO.
