how's firecamp bro. I don't know what it's like when it's your real career, but i have a lot of friends in firecrew and they pretty much get paid gobs of money to not do shit. they maybe have intense training every weekend but spend most of their time just dicking around waiting to be dispatched

i've been on a few fires this last few days, so real busy
but yeah, off fires is pretty laid back.
PT for a few hours in the AM (how many jobs actually pay you to lift/run?)
take a long pre-lunch break, rehab the truck, practice some attacks and hose lays.
overall the most fun i've ever had on a job, i can't believe i get paid to do it (btw i made around a g for three long fire days this week)
