:fro: i diet well and clean but i have at least 1 binge session every week at nite thats sets me back all the time i used to binge every nite but i cut it down to once or twice , anyone have any idead how to avoid the URGE to keep on eating and eating ?

First and foremost, I think that you should be very proud of yourself for the progess you have made.

You mention that you have gone from nightly binges to one binge per week. So at the very least you know that you are strong enough to effect a change in your life.

When you feel the urge to binge (and I am not merely talking about a carb up - but an all out uncontrolled binge!) you could try simply supplementing with fiber and water (psyllium husk powder is excellent for example - two tea spoons in water will make you feel extremely full - perhaps killing the urge to eat). Drinking lots of water throughout the day will also help in this regard.

But I think that your best bet is to remember that you have made progess and that you CAN DO THIS. The power of positive thinking can do wonders.

I know what this feels like bro and it sucks big time
but weekend before last i went on a heavy binge :(

(2 cheesecake slices, half a loaf of white bread, a box of cheerios with milk and other stuff spread out during the day)

anyway i decided i wanted to do something about it, i found an article on planned variance (i posted it somewhere on this forum)

anyway what I did last week is instead of having a cheat meal/cheat day on my off day, i'd have 2

sound crazy?
well i found because I was having 2 cheat days (well 2 cheat meals now ) i didnt feel the urge to binge!
Also try planning out your cheat days if u can in advance like the night before so it's somewhat controlled.
