What year was the US attacked before 9/11? 1990? I have no idea... but my point is they could have said from 1990 all the way until 2001 "Hey, look at the great job we're doing... No attacks..." Just like they're saying now.
IF we were getting attacked EVERY year, and then the US has a "war on terror" and we're not attacked anymore after all these years, then it would be worth noting. Then we could pat ourselves on the back. But we don't know if they only attack us once every 10-12 years or so. Maybe they do. Maybe they don't want to attack us for now. We keep saying "We're awesome, no attacks." wtf?
