bro...really if you are into this kind of "cruiser" do yourself a big favor- get a HARLEY....seriuosly. if you bought this bike and didnt like it- you'll have a tuff time selling it...you'll be very bored with a small displacement bike rather quickly...this bike has exact lines of the "Dynas" by HARLEY...look into it. as far as "cruisers" go, id pick the Yamaha "Warrior" if i wanted to stay with Jap bikes....I'd go back to the HD "Fat Boy" when the time comes for me to be too old to do what i do....theoak01 said:I want this http://powersports.honda.com/assets...ro_shot/motorcycles/2004/large/Shadow_VLX.jpg
id do stupid shit on a crotch rocket, but i may end up changing my mind, who knows

I was looking around at quotes for a gsx r 600 and got a 11 grand quote for fucking insurance.
how is that reasonable?
Guess I might get a marauder instead
yeah....as soon as you get into 1000cc's the insurance doubles roughly...chesty said:I pay about 50 dollars a month for full coverage

Oak, maing, go to State Farm and they will give you a good deal if you have your car insured through them too.
theoak01 said:state farm quoted me 400 bucks a month for my car, they can suck and egg

Yup makes a big diffrence. I still have to do my full G I am not looking forward to that as I don't drive very often anymore. I know tons of people failing the G since it is a private testing company doing it now.theoak01 said:no tickets nothing

Im not really worried about my insurance price for the car,but I figure your right with the bike,Im best to wait till im 25
superqt4u2nv said:Oak do you have your full G? You wont get a good rate on bike insurance tell you are over 25 and have a full M.
damn..im with state farm too. but im in Cali. high risk here.DRRman said:yep, when i turned 26 my bike insurance went down over 75 bucks a month
just got my bill last night, i pay 56.00/mo on my cbr1000 for full coverage through state farm.....they weren't the cheapes for auto insurance, GEICO was, but statefarm will not insure a bike with no car on teh policy, at least in NC anyways, so i switched my two cars there and saved money overall, plus got a multicar discount
theoak01 said:i looked into that and there is like a 12 grand difference between the shadow and the harley, way outta my price range
