im off today, pretty soon i should know if i made sergeant at work or not. i caught wind that out of 18 applicants for the 2 sergeant positions i blew them all away in the interview. even though i have only been there 3 months and im competing with guys that have been there for 15+ years i am one of the front runners for the porition. huge pay raise and outstanding benefits. state of florida job too. right now im considered part time. the head sergeant told me yesterday that its a yes but he cant officially announce it till the President of the college signs off on it. so there is still a slight possibility that i may not get it. im psyched...
