Big problem with car upholstery and carpet

We had some trash from the house that was long overdo to be taken to the dump because the trash guy didn't come last week. So I loaded it up in the car to take it. Unfortunately I got delayed at work for the rest of the day and could not get it taken until the next morning. We had some old food in there and already some maggots had started growing. I didn't know this until I got to the dump and saw maybe a couple hundred had gotten out of a hole in the trash bag and had spilled onto the floorboards of the trunk. I vacumed them out as best I could after I put down some carpet cleaner. A couple of days later I am seeing several flies in the car just about everytime I get in. So I go checking and see that it was worse than I expected. some of the maggots got into the carpet in the rest of the car. I have cleaned several times but the carpet is plush so it's hard to be sure I have them all cleaned out. Now I'm paranoid about where all these little fuckers have gotten to.

Does anyone know a good way to make sure they are all out and how to disinfect my car? I don't want to have to have it reupholstered but this shit makes me sick to my stomach thinking I'm driving around with moggots in the damn car.

go to a detail shop and have them clean the interior .......costs alot though
