I know for instance if I'm doing incline dumbell curls if I hold at the peak it gives a good pump. But holding 1/4 way up at last rep of set, sure. I think I'll try that. So X-Reps are basically holding the last rep till failure @ stretch posistion for say 2x8 sets on compound exercises. Cool, I get it. From practical knowledge sounds like it would work. But why in the world, (well money I guess) do you advertise it worse than a prostitute and sell it in a so-called book?
Anywhoo, anyone done these?
I'm pretty basic right now 1 on 1off 3x10 of each body part 3 days/week. Want to start HST start of Feb. due to Jan. scheduling. But I'm kinda rethinking things, think I'll throw some X-rep thingy's in the routine tommarow.
Anyone have exp. with these?
