I don't understand these dumb fucks nowadays. When I was little, we always rode on the sidewalk or at least the shoulder on the other side of the white line. Now I constantly see these people riding they're bikes in the lane for cars when there is a sidewalk right there that they could be on. Fuckin faggots get the fuck off the road!!!!!!!!! :die:

Cyclists and pedestrians have a legal right to access every destination reachable by public roads. This means that they deserve safe accommodation on every road and across every intersection. Non-motorized travel must not be prohibited except where controlled-access expressways provide service that is completely redundant to safe and efficient routes for non-motorized users. Accommodation of cyclists and pedestrians must be provided via safe, lawful and courteous behavior by other road users and by appropriate engineering of roadways.

One of the problems bicyclists face is motorists who think they don't belong on the road. As drivers, we must share roadways safely with all users, and bicyclists have every right to be out there.

While that's true, it sure doesn't help the issue of those fuckers screwing up traffic.

Where I live the roads are curvy and hilly. Sometimes you get behind about 15 of these tards, spead out over a couple miles, and you simply cannot pass because of the road conditions I described above.

It's very frustrating.

Yeah, when you were 8 years old riding a mile up the road to your friends house. "Road" (appropriately named) bikes have tires about as wide as your thumb, you can not be jumping on and off sidewalks/curbs. In addition, most cyclists train for 40-60 miles a ride so usually not paved areas for this distance.

WTF is this "fuckin faggots get the fuck off the road!!!!!!die"
I was a competitive cyclists before I started focusing on bodybuilding. Definately can tell you that you have no clue what kind of mental and physical tenacity that goes into this sport.

Instead of plowing down defenseless riders, get on a bike through some small hills and I guarantee you will gain a greater appreciation for this activity.

Dumb fucking drivers need to learn who has the right of way.

I ride my bike across a pretty sweet bike path, goes through valley farmland. No cars except when you have a cross street. I'm trying to go straight, through a green light on the cross walk. Dude was trying to make a left turn into me. I kept going and he got all up on his horn like he was a tough guy in this japanese truck. I flipped him off, cawk fucking smoker. I'm pretty mellow, but I felt like bashing his fucking redneck head in.

Marry me

I guess farmers will no longer be able to move their tractors from field to field. And the Amish and Mennonites are going to have to give up their religious beliefs. Or is a bike the only problem?

i dont drive on your bike paths

Again...To educate the less fortunate.

1) They are called "road" bikes for a reason (obviously to ride on the road)

2) If it were illegal I could see your point, but it is not

3) You cant get enough distance to train on with those short distance "bike paths", those are meant for families, recreational riders.

4) Please get on a bike to appreciate the sport.

PS Gymgirl, lets go on a "ride" and get lost in some wooded area...lol

im not discounting it is healthy or fun, it impedes traffic and with the amount of motor traffic now, a line of traffic going 15 mph is going to piss me off, i mean i got shit to do, im not out there joyriding, im trying to get to work, go to the store, i dont need to be held up by some tour de frace wannabe. thank you

If more people road bikes there would be less traffic - and less CO2 emmissions as well. So you see - it is the answer not the problem.

15? They are all lallygagging along at 5 or so here along the beach roads. if it weren't for some of the babes wearing thongs while doing it, I'd mow down the lot of them.

im talking about the guys who think they are pro cyclists weraring their spandex and logoed shirts

Speaking of illegal, it's funny how bicyclers fly thru stop signs as if they don't exist. I guess stopping would impede their Lance Armstrongish training regimen.

Also, many times cars could easily pass if only the cyclers would get over towards the edge, but instead you have 4 or 5 dudes riding wildly and sometimes in the yellow centerline.

You know I am just messing you guys.....I hate being slowed down my bikes also....BUT I am also a rider. So I hate cars that try to push you right off the road....

i cant say i ve ever seen them in the centerline, but they do blow stop signs, i think they are afraid they will hurt their splits lol

one of my co-workers has his passenger side windshield washer jet aimed at the curb and the washer container filled with amonia/water mix....his aim is quite good! :artist:

i had a dog that used to charge right at bicycles but stop right at the curb, id love watching those dudes shit their pants trying to get away

That's the problem though, squeezing by cyclists gets them killed by side view mirrors and swerving cars.

Most of the time it's lycra, not spandex and it's a whole lot easier to ride in a jersey and bike shorts than in basketball shorts and a loose shirt.

My two biggest fears riding a bike are rednecks and dogs. You can see what category most people here fall in.

Yeah, a menacing dog. I wish someone would have pepper sprayed it or kicked the shit out of it.

im just busting nuts, i could give 2 kraps about bicycles etc, i had to mix it up a little bit being on vacation from the A.A.S borad

Not in the the lane that I'm driving in. They can ride on the shoulder all they want.

I just get pissed at the people who ride in the lanes that cars are driving in, when there is a perfectly good paved shoulder they could be on.

This reminds me of a few years back. 5 of us were going to a WWF event in North Carolina.

Well a lot of the route was thru the mountains on a 2 lane road. We got behind the awfullest line of vehicles backed up.

Finally we got to the problem and it was a dumbass cycler trying to pedal up the mountain and wouldn't get over and let cars pass.

The roads were curvy and people were blowing by him (dangerously) when they could.

My buddy in the back seat had one of those huge foam fingers and when we went by he stretched out of the window and poked the guy in the head. LOL that was the funniest thing I've seen. Needless to say we got the finger from the guy (no pun intended)

WHEN bicyclists are required to carry the same liabitity insurance i am required to for my car, when bicyclists are required to follow the same traffic laws i am required to when driving my car, when bicyclists are ticketed and jailed for NOT floowing the same traffic laws i do when driving a car.......THEN i will give them an equal share of the road.

until then....STFU!

Good point.

The whole "pedestrian having the right of way" bullshit has gone too far. It's one thing to let somebody cross a road or share the road with them.

It's another thing when I have to drive with a white knuckled death grip on the steering wheel and foot on the break just waiting for one of the stupid fucks to jump in my way.
