Biceps or is it Forearms?

Hey bros, just got a quick question for all of you. Everytime I workout my biceps, it seems I get more of a forearm workout than anything. I do inclined curls*the new kind with the bar behind your arms to keep them from moving* either isolations on preacher or standing ez-bar curls. I sometimes throw hammer incline curls in the mix as well. Is there any other way you guys get a great bicep pump(and I know the bicep is smaller than the tricep and that you should bulk thet tri's up to get a full looking arm). Also gonna throw this in here too........what's the best tri exercise for a good pump? My close grip bench doesn't seem to be going in the right direction b/c I don't think I"ve got the right grip distance or turn of the elbows. Thanks for any help guys!

i find close grip bench is 1 of the best tri exercises, as far as your grip goes, your elbows should touch your sides. when i do curls i can definately feel my biceps but also my forearms. try doing your preacher curls or using a curl bar like this 8 reps of x. then lighten the weight and keep lifting etc untill you can barely lift sweet nothing. do a few sets of those bad boys and see how your bi's feel tomz ;)

if you feel it mostly in the forarms dont use the EZ curl bar!! ( like say for preachers )
and do your curls with the elbows on your side and (((( Pinky turned up as far as you can )))) or standing barbell curls with wide grip and elbows still on your side ..
play around with this movment. took me years to figure it out. I had the same trouble. for more info PM me

this is a semilar thread..

The pump doesn't mean shit. You grow by getting stronger in the core movements and supplying an excess of calories.

I have to say this is correct but motivation is what gets people in the gym.
and if getting a pump adds to it or helps, use what works for you.
