Biceps never sore???

TC2

New member
I've had every body part get sore. But the only time I've ever had my biceps sore is when I 1st started working out.

If I hit the weights hard every body part worked gets sore except for my biceps no matter what training program I follow.

Any thoughts??

try incline db curls. I think the stretch will make them sore. That`s not necessarily a good thing but that`s what I think does it.

I know that`s not what you wanna hear but after ALOT of experience (of being sore) I`m convinced of this phenomenon. it`s the stretch. and tears.

Oh I do 3x10 BB curls, 3x10 IDC, 3x8 preacher curls...no burn. Even though I go to failure. My first bicep workout though...oh man I couldn't extend or flex my arm for an entire week. My arms looked as though I was in a boxing match, it hurt so much doing anything.

Don't feel like they have to be sore after a workout. They don't have to be to stimulate growth. My biceps haven't been sore in years, but they still grow. Just make sure you don't overtrain them, as they already get a hell of a workout while training back..

Mine are still growing, but it just seemed weird that every other body part sometimes gets sore and my bis never do no matter what.

I even went super heavy with strict form the other night and nothing.

my biceps never get sore either. all other muscle groups do, just not biceps. i dont worry about it though, cuz i know they are getting stronger.

If you really really want to make your biceps sore, do sets of 15-20 with lighter weight. Make sure that you're extending all the way at the bottom. Cables are really good for this too, because they keep constant tension on the muscles throughout the full ROM. Freeweights lose a lot of muscle tension at the top of the curl movement.

I'm not saying this is the best for growth, but it will help you remember what sore biceps feel like :p.
