Bicep work

Fellas,
I want to tighten up my bicep work. On my arm day I tend to float around hitting different exercises because I always end up feeling more pain in my front delts during bicep work. I have worked with people on my form and yet I still dont get it. How do you isolate your biceps and get a deep burn? What does your bicep workout look like?

Make sure that elbows are at sides when doing standing barbells.
If elbows move in front of body this will relieve some of the strain on the biceps and onto the front delts.
Preacher or spider curls are also good for isolating the bi's.

hey sacmuncher half of the posts here dont belong here, talk to me when youve posted here a while. Go get me a bean pie while your at it. Thanks.

with Barbell Curls I just "do them" and go a bit heavier, they just seem to add arm mass even if you don't necessarily FEEL the bicep burning

after I do 5 sets pyramiding in weight I take a 2 minute break, stretch then do 1 arm DB preacher curls and really nail the bicep till it burns and get super pumped
I do 4 sets with a light to midrange weight

take a 1-2 minute break, then do optional light reverse curls 3 sets back to back

when doing barbell curls do you ever get the feeling in your forearm like the bone is about to break? My left forearm feels like its about to break whenever I do any work with an underhand grip and a straight bar. Any Ideas?

I use the Cambered Bar:

that seems to help

Also I PYRAMID in weight so if my last set is with 100 pounds

the first set will be 50 lbs, second set 70, third set 80, 4th set 90, last set 100 till failure

so you have PLENTY of time to warm up and get in the groove

How about semi-supinated (palms facing each other) pull-ups. It blasts the crap out of my biceps and forearms. You can also do narrow-grip chins with your palms facing you. If you get tired, keep going using negatives.

I get good pumps from other stuff (barbell curls, etc), but nothing makes my arms feel pumped like pull-ups/chins do!
