I was wondering what type of workout would be the most effective and give the most gains while running a cycle of test cyp?
Low reps? high reps? superseting or no?
Same thing for you when your not on cycle... getting workout routine in check before a cycle is crucial. You should have many years of lifting under your belt and what workouts to do shouldn't even be a question IMO.
i do, i just didnt know if it would be beneficial to make the training split more intense or say would i get more gains from a mass workout than from a strength workout.
thanks though
I wonder how many people laugh at the idea of the mind/muscle connection? I have always believed in this concept to feel the muscle that is supposed to do the work, isolating it, visualizing it in your mind, and then contracting those lats for a good cable pull down or chin.
A while back in the gym, I saw a bunch of high school kids working out and they all had bad form. One kid doing seated cable rows was slouched forward pulling fast on as heavy of weights as he could muster the strength for. I tried to point out to him nicely the right way to do it, and mentioned the mind and muscle connection and he belted out a laugh and said, "Whatever dude." His coach was standing behind me and yelled, "Hey! You need to listen to other people who actually do have a lat spread! I should have redshirted you a long time!"
You can workout so many different routines ranging from 8-12 reps and I would suggest finding as many possible routines as you can because your body will always need that curveball thrown at it on a regular basis to continue to grow.
