Talking today about different workouts with some people and we were discussing the best workout for those guys who don't go to the gym consistently. What I mean is, on a day to day basis you may or may not be able to go. In this instance its impossible to do a workout like the 5x5 for example because that workout requires linear progression.
So whats the best workout for a guy who can get to the gym only when possible. Someone who can sometimes go every day during the week but other times only 2-3 times. Sometimes on Monday, sometimes not. In other words, from week to week it depends on when he can get to the gym. A program that doesn't require you to go M-W-F every week or even 4 days every week.
I'm thinking a split because you can just have 4 different workouts and do in order. What do you guys think?
