lie back on the bench, start with the barbell over your head, lower it over your head and down past the bench, touch the floor, pull weight up so its over your body, thats one rep
I like shoulder width barbell pullovers ALOT myself. It's amazing how many guys I never see doing them in the gym or that even know what they are. Imho, they should be a staple in any back routine. I always get a decent pump and some soreness around the middle lat area which is right in the meatiest part of the lat. Good exercise.
Hey brother!! No need for the dumbass comment. Id have to say it really depends on the space you have available at home, and how much money your willing to spend. For a beginning lifter it wouldnt be extremely expensive to get the essentials: Adjustable bench, power rack,barbell,200-300 in plates, some dumbells and maybe an EZ curl bar should do the trick. If I was still deadlifting and even now it would be much more expensive. I dont even have the space where Im at now. The other thing missing is easy access to a spotter, but there are ways around that. The power rack can be used to catch the weight if you fail. I prefer to train in a gym myself. I can always find empty hours to train at. The atmosphere can also be more motivational aslong as there arent too many assholes in the gym. I really only feed off the negative attention at the gym more so then the positive. Many people will buy equipment for thier home and then it collects dust and never gets used again. It comes down to your drive and determination. If you want it bad enough youll make a way.
