tickets go on sale july 27th for tool's show at radio city music hall on aug 13th. i desperately want to see this show, but im fucking sure it will sell out so fucking quickly. which is the best way to go in terms of getting decent tickets? ticket broker? camping outside the box office? fuck using ticketmaster.com, cause that thing is a piece of shit and always takes forever. what do you people suggest?

oh yeah, if i go with a broker, how much extra will i be expecting to pay?

Ticketmaster has always been good to me, but nothing beats camping outside the ticket office with fellow fans... good luck darlin

I use ticketmaster.com they reserve a % of tickets for online sale only. It's a sure way to get tickets and it beats waiting in line.

fuck ticket brokers, i was reading over some prices, and i about fell out of my chair. how the fuck is scalping illegal if these motherfuckers can get away with it?

Camping out at the box office or any other ticket outlet will not help you. I work for said ticketing company. Trust me. Outlets and the box offices use a random number drawing to determine the first person in line. Don't use charge-by-phone. If you have a high speed connection, the Internet might not be so bad (but it usually is for onsales). Use a broker if you must, but his premium isn't really a good value for a two hour evening. I say your best bet is to find a less popular outlet (fewer people in line) and head there. Or go to an outlet where you know the people running it are experienced ticketsellers. A great outlet with experienced ticketsellers can get a sizable line through rather quickly. I ran an outlet several years ago and it was common for us to get a line of 150 people through in less than 20 minutes with everyone getting tickets.
