Yeah man, I hear ya.I can literally feel the difference in my post workout shake as opposed to other shakes- it's the same shake- but completely different.
That's kinda funny, I know exactly what you're talking about.oneandthesame said:I can literally feel the difference in my post workout shake as opposed to other shakes- it's the same shake- but completely different.

Ahh, is that what your talking about. Same shake taken at other than post-workout times? Now I follow.I'll third that, it tastes all wonderful and chocolaty..
When I drink one the moment I wake up, it's damn nasty.

Bam Bam said:Not flaming anyone here, but wouldn't smoking weed after a workout kinda defeat the purpose? All you bros who take xanax and pain killers regularly after a workout had better be careful. One of my best friends is on his 7th day of rehab for shit like that. It's not a pretty sight bros, he used to be so smart and outgoing and now he's just a basket case. I'm not trying to preach to you guys, I just don't like seeing people have to suffer through that shit. BamBam
careful with that shit don't take too much, friend of mine was swinging those a while back and I picked one up for myself and a buddy of mine (40mg per pill) I snorted it up and was fucked for almost 20 hours no joke. I took it at like 10pm that night figuring I would be fine by 4am or so, I was up till 6am going between passing out and a sublime wonderland. Then I sort of started to come down and felt really nausous for like 2 hours, I was actually convinced I was going to die and right before I went to sleep/passed out I accepted the fact that I was going to die that night. Next morning I woke up I was still fucked (not as bad but like if I took a vicodin) so I had to skip all my classes, didn't feel normal until later that night. After that I've steered clear of painkillers pretty much, shit just gets too addictive and after that experience I decided to quit the game while I was ahead. I usually did weaker pain killers like tylenol 3's, and hydrocone maybe 3-4 times per week for a couple months and when I finally quit it was a bit hard. It's more addictive than you think. Seriously I've heard stories of people having withdrawl after like 4 days on oxycontins, so you might want to see if your hubby can get put on something else instead like hydrocone, oxycodone, or vicodin. I realize they are all opiates but I dunno something about those oc's is just bad news. Sorry I went on for a bit about this but if it hadn't been for a few good decisions and caring friends I would probably be hooked hard core on pain killers. Anyways be safe.GettingLean said:Hubby just had surgery and he shared one of his painkillers w/ me. They were called "oxycontin". Felt SO NICEI know, i know, they are VERY addictive.
