Ya pumps honestly don't mean shit. I like that I get some pump feeling going in my muscles when I lift, but it's just a side effect of the training. It's not my goal.
I used to train like a bodybuilder with multiples exercises per bodypart, all sets to failure, go for the pump and I was a weak fuck and never got over 175lbs.
I started learning about periodization, dual factor, fitness-fatigue theory.
I never get maximally pumped. I rarely hit real failure on an exercise and rarely on purpose.
Never been bigger or stronger.
Pumps mean dick.
