Best routine when on a cutting cycle?

What would you suggest is the best routine for a cutter.

I am currently doing HST, with cardio 2 days per week. Obviously I know I'll need to up the cardio to 4/5 times, but I'm curious as to how I should train my muscles?

Should I stick with HST, 5*5, or change to standard once per week in 8-10 rep range.

It'd be nice to gain a few lbs of muscle, but primary objective is to get cut.

Cycle is test/var.
 
I always stay heavy but speed up my training. Diet will get you cut up NOT higher reps with less weight.
 
Yeah, I know that, but thanks. Just want some input on workout routines whilst cutting. What worked well i.e strength increase whilst dropping weight etc.
 
i like full body workouts while cutting..

i wont give my opinion on higher rep routines cause ill get blasted on this forum..
