BEST OTC Supplement for Gains

I don't think women like to hear this, but it is food, and loads of it.

I don't believe in turning into a big fat blob, but I do think that you have to get a bit chubby to put on some mass.

It takes an insane amount of calories to build a pound of muscle (I think I remember reading 30, 000), and you can need 600 kcals and burn the same amount of muscle off.

Besides a good multivitamin and the other basics that have been mentioned, I have found that I grow really well on the same things that BBers in the 1950s through till the 1970s mostly ate:

- beef
- milk

These two included in my diet have made the biggest differences.

of course they also ate:

- eggs
-chicken
-turkey
-tuna

Yup tat
they also ate
whole eggs not just the whites
whole cheeses not fat free
whole milk
chicken white and dark

I grow well on beef , milk and cottage cheese as well.
To make it affordable to eat beef. I cook a 5 lb beef pot roast once a week at 2.49 a lb. that is only around $15.00 with some potatoes and carrots thrown in.
Rump roast is 25grams of protien for 4oz, so a 5 lb roast is
500 grams of protien and a good price per meal if you break it doen into 10 meals . I will eat it all in two days along with my milk eggs and cheeses great way to gain muscle

I have tried these before and never really noticed any growth from them.
Arginine - helps to trigger GH

Leucine - strong inducer of protein synthesis

BCAAs - induces an insulin response

Pre workout 1 hr I eat ww pasta & chicken.
Post workout I drink gatorade 45g carbs 20 min later I drink whey isolate. 56-60g protein.

I can say that I am a complete hard gainer,. I have been lifting for 8 years, I am just looking to try something new ;)
