Best Natural product to keep Thyroid up?

I've heard that APPLES are perfect for proper thyroid function. As far as I know, they haven't been banned yet, either...
 
I'm just waiting for the results of my TSH scan to come in. I figure I might have have a slightly underactive thyroid. I asked the doc why he hadn't checked off T3+T4 on the test requisition and he said it was unecessary and TSH would tell if there is a problem. He also told me that since I don't have typical side effects of dry skin, clammy palms, constipation etc., it is unlikely.... The main reason I figured I would get a test is because my body temperature seems to be 95.5 (waking) and average 96.5 through the day.

If TSH is normal, you probably have impaired T4-T3 conversion. 80% of the bodies free T3 comes from the peripheral T4-T3 conversion. In athletes and people who do sports, what happens is that the T4 gets converted to rT3(Reverse T3), instead of T3 (Due to dieting or over-training), which is not metabolically active...hence why your temperature would drop a good 1F or 2F.

i agree, Im not much in for the childish suspense guessing games. Why dont you just tell us. This board is all about sharing ideas. Thats what makes it such an advantage to all readers, not stuff like this.
