best multivitamin?

I have gotten some of the 'real food' vitamins in the past - larger number/size of pills but lower dosages of the vitamins on the bottle label because, apparently, it's more potent coming from real sourecs rather than the generic multivitamins out there.

Are there any solid recommendations out there on a good multi?

The Beastpack from vitaminshoppe is damn good and cost efficent too.

just promise me you wont EVER go to gnc for a multi.

Animalpack is my all time favorite. . . .

Both have big pills in hard tablet form and a lot of bullshit ingredients.

Go with DX7 bro. Right here: Dx-7 Daily Vitanim and Mineral Support for Bodybuilding | EliteFitnessNutrition

Half a dosage is better than most other brands full dosage. Lasts 2 months.
what are some of the "bullshit ingedients of animal pak?" It is in my opinion the best multi vitamin out there. Just expensive like big blast. The dx7 mutli has FAR less bcaa's then animal pak as well.

dx7 - Branch Chain Amino Acids: Leucine: 250 mgs Isoleucine: 250 mgs Valine: 250 mgs

animalpak - Leucine - 100mg Valine - 760mg Threonine - 48mg Glutamic Acid - 700mg Phenylalanine - 560mg Arginine - 2g Lysine 300mg Methionine - 500mg.

Arginine isn't a bullshit ingredient.
Dx7 has Lycopene in it which is good.

If you are looking for a more potent multi go with animal paks....

that is my opinion. i had tried a TON of supps and both multi's. AP is preferred by me. One-a-day-mens work as well also but is far less potent than AP.

you have to see which one your body likes the most.

there are only 4 in stock of dx7 at the EF store, but a TON of animal paks in stock everywhere.....

hope this helps....

iggy

Bullshit ingredients include liver, shark cartlidge, digestive enzymes and an inconsequential amount of colostrum.

DX7 contains Lutein, Lycopene, beta glucan, ginko and MSM, TMG and other ingredients that have actual value which aren;t included in AP.

Plus, the dsage for AP is TWO packets of pills -- over a dozen in all if I'm not mistaken.

Also, they're tablets which do not break down completely so much of it is wasted.

True, AP has a bit more BCAA but that's not the main componet you're looking for in a multi.

The vit and min dosages are comparable. DX7 is higher is some while AP is higher in Vit A, but their dosage is overkill. Vit A is one of the few vits that are toxic if taken in too high a dosage.

So all in all, AP isn;t bad, but DX7 is superior.

For the time being, I got a good deal on the Nature's Finest Daily Maximin for the next two months, so I'm using this as a research period to see what I want to really use. (It seems good - about 5-6 pills in a packet - 2 for 1 deal going on right now.)

There are a lot of exotic ingredients in both of your recommendations, but I'm really interested in the core vitamins (B12, E, etc.) and making sure they survive the digestive track.

Something I picked up at Vitamin Shop was one of those whole food vitamins - Vitamin Code.

Well, you said BEST. If you just want adequate, there are dozens that will do.
